Even after you are certified with your Open Water Diver course you still have much more to learn. And Thunder Country Diving provides all those specialty courses for you. Specialty diving courses are available upon request. Private or flex-courses courses are also available upon request. Specialty Course costs start @ $155.00 + HST. Specialty courses include class, online theory and pool sessions, equipment rentals are not included in the specialty course packages , boat fees, dry suits or total dive systems.

Nitrox 
Learn to dive with oxygen-enriched air (up to 40%) to increase bottom time and reduce nitrogen absorption. Covers gas analysis, dive planning, and safe nitrox procedures.

Perfect Buoyancy
Improve your control in the water to hover effortlessly, reduce air consumption, and protect marine life. Focuses on advanced buoyancy skills and trim.

Ice Diving
Train to safely dive under ice using specialized equipment and procedures. Covers team communication, safety protocols, and overhead environment awareness.

Night Diving & Limited Visibility
Learn to dive safely in low-light or dark conditions using dive lights, navigation, and communication techniques. Discover marine life that is active at night.

Stress & Rescue
Develop the skills to prevent, recognize, and manage dive emergencies. Includes self-rescue, assisting others, and building confidence and safety awareness.

Dry suit Diving
Learn how to use a dry suit to stay warm in cold water. Covers buoyancy control, equipment handling, and dry suit-specific safety skills.
